This entertaining release for grade 3 strings is a delightful mix of elements from two distinctly different styles, the Baroque and the blues. The main body of the work should be played with the vigorous, firm bow strokes common in Baroque music. Later when Baroque encounters a blues bass line and some trendy syncopations, the two coexist in a more relaxed setting with great results. Scored for standard strings.
