As the title implies, easy double stops and solid bow strokes give this release an exceptionally full, robust sound. For striking contrast between the opening and closing bravura sections, an cantabile melody in the lower voices is heard midway through. Here smooth, seamless bow changes are required of all players. An optional piano part is included.
