This lesser known English carol embodies the spirit of the holiday season. Written in the keys of G and C major, interest is sustained through repetition using contrasting styles and accompaniments, tempo changes, and scoring techniques. The music is light and spirited and lies well within the abilities of the grade 2+ string orchestra. The arranger provides the opportunity for all to play the melody. An optional piano part is provided in each set, as well as 3 copies of the 3rd Violin/Viola T.C. part. |
